Happy Birthday Addison!

Yesterday my sweet Addison turned two!

We had a little party for her on Saturday...very low key. Just the essentials...Grandmas & Grandpas and Aunt & Uncle. We were just missing the Riensches!
Addison received a lot of dress up clothes! Check out those cute toes!
Look at that little pageant Queen!Here she is with her Papa and her new "Bobby". When she says Baby it really sounds like Bobby. So cute.
She loves her new cell phone.
She thoroughly checked out all of her new clothes! A good time was had by all!
Last night for her actual birthday we took her to Red Robin. They didn't sing to her but did bring her this yummy sundae!
I can't believe she is already two......she still seems like such a baby to me. I know in a couple of months when the new baby is here she will seem really big and will grow up in a hurry. But for now...she is still my little baby.

27 weeks....and a new haircut.

Boy, this picture seems big on the computer. A little too up close and personal but it is reality. After years of short hair and two years of growing it out I chopped it all off today. Not me personally of course but my wonderful hairdresser. It feels sooo good!

I am also 27 weeks with child....I am terrible at taking belly shots for posterity. I was with my first two and I am following on that track with this little guy. So here is my attempt at a belly shot before I deliver this baby and have no proof I really carried him! I know it is a lame shot without my head and all but I provided a pretty big head shot above....

I had a doctor appointment yesterday and he informed me that I am measuring a little big...well, sure - of course I am! I do big well when I am pregnant! I'm no basketball carrying mama - I'm the exercise ball carrying mama! I am excited to have my c-section on the books though.....May 4th! I know it takes all of the surprise out...everyone knows what we are having (a boy), what his name will be (Quinn) and the date he will be born (5/4/09). I could practically get my birth announcements printed now! I am just lousy at keeping secrets!

Crib Bedding...

My dear friend Michelle has agreed to make crib bedding for me for my mini crib. Today I went out and picked out the fabrics she is going to use. It has a bit of a vintage feel and uses the color scheme I have throughout my house so it should work well. We are going to do blocks of different fabrics on the inside of the bumper and a solid piece of the fourth fabric for the exterior of the bumper. The crib skirt will be made of this vintagey red fabric below. Should be cute - I can't wait to see the final result!
