Good Morning and Merry Christmas friends! It has been awhile again and we are in full Christmas season jolly around here like the rest of you!
Just wanted to say I am over at the Life Made Lovely blog today. Heather is featuring my tiny little cottage on her Holiday Home tour series.
We are baking Christmas cookies today. I'm thinking of going all non-cookie and making peppermint bark and layer bars....magic cookie bars in our family lingo. So not the traditional cookie but something just as delicious and Christmasy! Still looking for that third cookie...any thoughts? I have a cookie exchange to attend tonight and I need three varieties.
We got an early start to the Christmas celebrating this year. We visited my family out of town over Thanksgiving and just combined our two celebrations. Thanksgiving on Thursday and Christmas on Saturday with tree trimmed and stockings hung! It was really fun and my kids were so excited to get two Christmas celebrations! So we got an early start on that but a late start on putting up the decorations in our house. I am always a Thanksgiving weekend girl but since we were out of town we waited until last weekend.
I feel like I've been gone from this spot so long that there is so much to catch up on!
But for today, I'll leave it at that.
Hope your day is filled with Christmas cheer friends and the eternal hope that our Savior brings!
