Welcome! My name is Courtney - known in this part of the woods as Cottage Mommy. I live in a teeny tiny house I affectionately refer to as my cottage. Three littles ages seven, four and two also reside here. Add in a strapping, hard working husband and one very mellow Wheaten Terrier and that makes for one little cottage very full of love! This is my very own little spot to document the everyday happenings and the not so everyday happenings.


I think I've always loved design. I remember shutting my bedroom door as a little girl and rearranging my furniture over and over again. I ended up studying Interior Design in college but circumstances caused me to quit school before graduation. Fast forward many, many years  later and I am loving my real job as a stay at home Momma to my beautiful children. I still indulge my creative passions but now it's through dabbling in crafting, sewing, thrifting, repurposing old junk, and lately getting into the antique show business and opening my very own etsy shop. My husband fondly (I hope) calls me a junk collector. I see the beauty in the old and the ugly. I believe God gives everyone gifts. He gave me a heart that loves to create.
