Farm Chicks: Part 3
Sunday morning we arrived at 8:00 to reset our booth and restock with some new pieces. Saturday the sales had been crazy and as much as that thrilled us, there was something sad about taking down and moving out the pieces that were so fundamental to our booth design.
We brought my old farm table out to the front hoping that it would get a little more love. It did. Everyone commented on it and touched the iron mark on the top. Still no one bought it. We thought it was interesting what did and didn't sell through the weekend. We were left with a lot of darling stuff that we get to stash away for next year!
My little chickies got to come in the morning for a visit. Here they are decked out in their new Farm Chicks shirts. Eli had been awfully curious about what I had been up to and at first thought the show was pretty cool. After walking around a bit they were whining to return to our booth and head home. The day after we were done Eli heard me talking about the show with someone and he told me he didn't want me to do it again because he had missed me.
Tough luck kid, we're doing it again!
Sunday was much slower than Saturday. While it was nice to get to do some shopping of my own, we missed the hustle and bustle and sales of the day before. The day went quickly but the take down still took us four hours!
Over all it was such a wonderful show to be a part of...we were incredible honored to be vendors and are really excited for next year. Now the question is: do we have one space or two? It's time to start collecting again!

The Farm Chicks: Part 2
So it continues....Saturday was insane. I think I heard that we had about 4500 people come through the show and I think most of them came through in the morning!
We had a great day Saturday - it was so fun to meet people and hear positive feedback about our booth. Friday night after setup we looked around at the other booths and let me tell you - they were incredible. To say I was feeling insecure and intimidated would be an understatement. The nice thing about such a big show is that there is really something for everyone's taste.
It was so fun to see so many friends come by our booth as well. I felt so supported and encouraged by each one of you that came by...thank you so much!
Saturday night we went to a dinner party held at Chaps and their new bakery Cake. Sigh, drool, big smile here...this place is amazing! The new addition that is the bakery Cake is just beautiful and filled with amazing things. The grounds were gorgeous, the weather was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the cake...let me tell you about the cake....the best I have ever had. Seriously. This bakery will now be my go to place for cake...and date nights. Go there. Really. It's amazing.
I also got to visit more with Becca, Sam and Jessica. So glad I did! I missed the bloggy get together the night before so visiting with them was a special treat! Here is some eye candy of that night...

They had a great band...

This sweet sign was HUGE and incredible!
That big piece on the wall...maybe an old seed catalog piece? Really amazing!

We waited a really, really long time in the drink line. Nicole decided she needed a double portion.
This is Gretchen's regular portion...
Hee, hee, this is Nicole later....(of course, she is hamming it up for the camera!)

Some evening shots, the place was just gorgeous and we had a fun, fun night! The owner, Celeste is warm and sweet, sweet, sweet. Just like her sign says!

The Farm Chicks: Part 1
Okay, my computer is being really naughty and keeps randomly shutting down on me while I'm in the middle of trying to write about what an amazing time we had at Farm Chicks. Totally didn't mean to be a tease girls! Here are some quick shots of our booth! I'll put more up soon and write more about our great weekend!
