How are you friends? How was your weekend? Mine was spend lazily stitching away on some custom embroidery projects. It's been cooling down a bit here and we have had the strangest rainstorms with thunder and lightening that come on so quickly and then leave just as quickly.
I'm feeling the it's the middle of summer and I'm over my plants and yard syndrome. It hits every year. Things are going brown and are not getting watered nearly as often as they should. Last year I had my big birthday bash in September to keep me going but this year...nothing.
So months and months and months ago one of my oldest and dearest friends, Sarah, asked me to make two embroidered wall hangings for some friends of hers. She loves the Laura Ingalls Wilder quote I had used on my mason jar embroidery and asked only that I use that quote. She gave me free reign on the design and specified lots of yellows and greens. She didn't need them until June and wouldn't you know it the months just sped by! So here it is July and I am just now finished with these pieces. They turned out to be favorites for me.
Have a happy Monday friends!
