This girl that is....
Yesterday I got to co-host a baby shower for her with this girl and this girl...both amazingly creative and talented.
She opened up her home for the party and it was perfect. The color scheme matched her nursery exactly.
So, so fun.
Yesterday I got to co-host a baby shower for her with this girl and this girl...both amazingly creative and talented.

Her family is gorgeous and so kind. They really love their Channy.
We went a little crazy with the desserts.
Chocolate mousse in tiny mason jars.
Meringues with whippy and strawberries.
Mini red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Tiny cherry and blueberry pies.
Here are is a little glimpse of the before...
A candy or "lolly" bar for the guests. They were able to fill a goody bag with candy to bring home with them.
The day before she did a maternity photo shoot...incredible photographer, beautiful subjects.
As a surprise, she printed out photos from the shoot and displayed them on the mantel.
We had a book theme....guests brought their favorite children's books to jumpstart baby's library.
You can't have a shower without naked plastic babies.
Seriously.

It was really an honor to get to help throw this shower for Channy and her family. And really fun to get the creativity flowing with some of my dearest friends.
We love you Channy and are so excited to meet little G!

It really was so so fun, wasn't it? We definitely need to find more ways to throw parties together. And you, my dear friend, are so very talented + creative yourself! The way you put all the decor together- seriously beautiful! And thank you for all your sweet words about my photography :)

Oooohh, I just talked to Chelle this morning and heard about the fun + hard work you girls put into this shower! It is a-maz-ing!!! Seriously, will you be professional party-throwers and design all my parties?! (Not that I've had a party in recent memory, but you know...) Love, love, love all the little details and how crazy beautiful every single little thing was. The maternity photos are stunning! I did find the naked plastic babies a little bit creepy, though. ;-)
So beautiful! I love that Channy has such sweet friends in her new home town, that girl is undeniably precious and oh so amazing. Missing her.
